Classes on STOP THE BLEED® offer essential instruction for dealing with life-threatening bleeding in emergencies. Participants learn how to control bleeding rapidly and efficiently utilizing a range of methods and tools, such as tourniquets, pressure dressings, and wound packing.


Participants will learn how to recognize and respond to a bleeding emergency and take prompt action to help save lives through practical, hands-on education and expert supervision from qualified instructors. What Does This Course Teach?

What prevents bleeding? Three fast methods to help save a life before someone bleeds out are taught in a STOP THE BLEED® course: How to pack a wound to stop bleeding, how to properly apply a tourniquet, and how to apply pressure to a wound with your hands. With the help of these three methods, you’ll be able to help in an emergency situation and possibly save a life.
